You have to edit an ini file to get it to work in KF (thanks to UE2 for easily supporting this) but having TTS enable made it so much easier when we weren't on voice. Not having to look down at the text when a FP is rounding the corner and setting his sights on you can make a really big difference. I'm hoping that KF2 has a GUI option for it this time, I can just as easily change the setting in the config file but it's a very nice feature when things are super hectic and you can't take your eyes off the zed.
Though I think UE3 has some weird built in TTS voice and doesn't use the Windows TTS voice (which KF thankfully did do) you have selected. IIRC That's the way it was with UT3 and both games use UE3. Hopefully that was just a UT3 problem. :p
