Stats not saving unless click continue

Just played the best sniper round I ever played on a 50 minute map as defence. Racked up lots of points and levelled up my scope 4 stages. Nip for a slash and come back and we won the round. Map ends but I didn't click 'continue' on the stats page and so my points have not been assigned.



What is the deal with this? If you have to click continue in order to save the stats that is a stupid idea. How frustrating....
