What if you could still be ambushed by a few leftover stalkers/crawlers after a wave ends?
Maybe they could spawn and pop out at you on the way to the trader?
All the lights could turn off forcing you to use your flashlight.
I think it would be a nice touch and maybe not too game altering.
AS it stands right now, when a wave ends everyone just pulls out the knife and runs to the trader feeling completely safe. It would be nice to always be wondering if something is going to pop up on the way.
Instead of a stalker/crawler it could be a new type of ambush type ZED worth a lot of dosh but make it rare.
