I'm really fond of the focus on mostly light tanks in the current beta version of Arad2.
I haven't had this much fun tanking in quite some time.
Basically only giving the commander access to the T-34/Panzer IV makes them a valuable asset for your team and a priority target for the other team, instead of being just one of many identical tanks on the battlefield.
With the map being mostly populated by small tanks the infantry can be more active as their anti-tank weapons are much more effective against these small tanks.
Overall, these changes make the map a lot more enjoyable for me.
