Teamkilling penalties are very harsh

I've only seen this mentioned once elsewhere on the Steam discussion forum, so forgive me if this has already been brought up here.

I feel like the respawn time penalty for killing and/or wounding friendlies can be too severe. I can see some logic behind it but I think it can actually do more harm than good. As it is now, you get an additional time penalty on your next respawn each time you kill or even wound a friendly. Worse is that even if you are forgiven the penalty is still applied. While adding a bit of a delay isn't a huge deal, the fact that it can stack to become so large is, in my opinion, detrimental. I once ended up with an entire minute of extra respawn penalty just because of a few accidents. This makes a huge difference if you are in a critical role (SL or commander, both of which are not exempt from getting accidental TKs) or in a critical moment of the match.

In a any RO game I think a certain level of friendly fire should be expected - and even without a respawn or score penalty brings its own negative consequences. The fact that there is an additional irreconcilable penalty placed on someone for accidental friendly fire I feel just punishes serious players too harshly; even if it is indeed effective at combating intentional TKs.
