Recently I have been reading about the early Pacific war and noticed a weapon that isn't in RS yet was used a lot and which could really balance out the sides without too much impact… the M50
Level 0-24: 12 round box magazine
Level 25-49: 20 round magazine
Level 50: fire selector
The reising is more compact and the semi automatic capability would be an obvious advantage over the Thompson.
But the Thompson should be for veterans and the reising for everyone.

- M1928s were hard to produce and not many were around
- M50 reisings were very common before being withdrawn in about 42/43
- the weapon isn't overpowered and there would be less thompsons to fight as Japanese.
