Hybrid ranged/melee weapons, eg a bayonet?

Would a bayonet fit into this game? It could be attached to only certain guns, as an alternative buy from the vanilla weapon, would be a bit heavier and maybe reduce your accuracy a bit but you would have that added security when your clip runs dry in tight spots.

Thinking about the first game a bayonet on the repeater would be pretty awesome.

Perhaps some other weapons with hybrid ranged/melee potential? Any suggestions?
