On the Eastern front both of the German and Soviet snipers often used exploding ammo in their rifles to make their shots even that more deadlier. I'm not suggesting replacing their ball rounds with exploding rounds, just give a couple. I don't know how feasible this would be, but it would certainly be interesting :D
