My first attempt to mod a map just to add weapon pick ups, just a disaster. I have to admit I'm a little disappointed it's this hard to simply use the Weapon pickup factory object. Why is it this hard? All I want to do is add weapon pick ups to a custom map that I would like to play if it had this.
I've placed them everywhere, changed their pick up possibilities, copy from burning paris and pasted them into the custom map; they never spawn... I've even tried pasting over existing ammo pick ups and they don't spawn.
Really am at a loss when the documentation just says you don't have to change many of the properties to get it up and running...
