PS4 PRO, joining multiplayer VS Surival but freezes everytime in lobby

I can search and join lobbies etc, but when i'm in the lobby and can press triangle to ready up or switch teams the screen is freezed, can hold the ps button and close it down, but it happens everytime! Great game btw, i'm looking forward for a fix in the future.
