Should there be some kind of gating on the higher difficulties, or should everyone have access to every single difficulty the minute they start playing KF2?
Should players have to do something in lower difficulties to unlock access to successive difficulties, to prove they're ready for a harder challenge or to make sure they have the personal experience or perk levels to appropriately tackle a greater challenge? Should they be forced to spend some time in lower difficulties so they don't jump straight into the harder ones and get hopelessly slaughtered? If so, how much should they be required to do?
In my personal opinion, requiring players to successfully complete a handful of games on each difficulty to unlock the next would be adequate and go a long way. Just two or three though, because failed games or ones where you join more than a couple waves in wouldn't count. This way, if you really DO have a handle on playing the game you can 'graduate' in one sitting, but if you wouldn't have had any chance at all in the higher difficulty, it will take you longer to unlock it, giving you more time to improve your skills and rank up your perks.
(I threw in some additional possible forms of gating on the poll that weren't even suggested in the other thread. Also, the poll DOES allow multiple choice, so select any you would be okay with.)
