Just decided to give this game one last chance when it comes to tanks. After release these buggy creatures in RO2 are like chickens when compared to dinosaurs in the previous game + darkest hour mod. Real Panzers and JR server was hellova fun back then. Then RO2 devs made some improvements and bugfixes and added two new tanks and halftracks, of course at the cost of pissing off some tank/vehicle modders. GJ developers. But well, it's not like there are any meaningful tank maps or dedicated tank servers going on.
And even if there would be, there's still no way to play with your friend in one tank. You can block others joining or then some random 'tards pours in because your friend wasn't fast enough. That's annoying as hell as you can't even kick them out. This solution for role selecting just doesn't work when it comes to vehicles but it's not like devs thought this concept thoroughly to begin with.
After all these years it's just a massive disappointment that this combined arms -mode suffers from idiotic designs.
