=RAGE= quits

=RAGE= quits

It seems like that our appeal has been unanswered. I said in the first post that this decision to disqualify the whole team is unfair and is untenable. This has been shown in practice since the verdict. I have been contacted by many RO-players in steam and they straight out go full retard with insults and claims. How nice. They say we are cheaters and are practically enjoying the situation we are in. Thankfully these comments are mostly made to me because as I get the insults maybe others are spared to some extent. But this is not all we have to bare. Deserved you might think? It would be if we knew our player was cheating but we did not know it. On thursday 27th a couple of our players joined a public server and the person who had our clan tag on was banned from the server. Later, the ban was voided. A sign of things to come?

We feel the decision to disqualify the whole team is really bad decision because as I said, it stamped us all as cheaters. Probably the money has some effect why people go so mental. The money on offer is really just peanuts. How admins should have dealt with this is that they should have banned the players who are guilty and void the teams who had a cheater playing for them from the prize moneys. The scoring would still be the same as admins will not bother to cancel matches and void the points. They even do not have tools for this. Problem solved? Problem solved. RO-scene and it's athmosphere got much more poisonous when money came into it. If only the prize money would be voided it probably would have meant there would be smaller snowball effect with comments which I made clear in the first post. Well it was not and the effect was not a snowball but an avalanche.

This verdict also means clan =RAGE= can not continue. We would have to tolerate this **** on every occasion. Other players insulting and branding us cheaters and possibly banning us from all over the place. Tickets would be flying on many occasions when =RAGE= would play. It is easier to give up. Next you might think he will just create a new clan. Absolutely no chance. The pain, distrust, anger and disappointment is too much to bear to never be affiliated with any clan leading responsibilities in this scene. I feel all this is really undeserved as we maintain our position of not knowing any wrong doings at all. I'm absolutely burned out and done with this situation. The decision and news could have been made smarter to make it possible for the clan to be able to continue but it was not. This was a public execution and the crowd enjoyed every minute. While only one should have faced the firing squad, it ended up other 7-9 guys facing it too.

I will conclude this post by saying that we did not receive similar treatment than GULAG did with their wall hack/aim lock cheat suspect. We appealed to get this same treatment with a panel assembled to make a verdict but we were never replied back, despite me asking the admin responsible for the ticket 2 times after the original plea. My requests did not receive any reply. The worst thing to do is not reply at all because you avoid taking responsibility. We also asked to be heard in TeamSpeak like Gulag was, but we were not even granted the audience, let alone any answer for the matter either. We never had any democratic chance to defend ourselves. This on top of the public effect that came along with the decision is too much. The judgement sets a very dangerous path for all future admin decisions. Admins can/will/and should ban every player due to any single ini-violation and all other similar things by sticking to their rulebook. There will be more blood, for sure. The crowd will cheer, but the crowd will be smaller.

GL HF.

ps. Admins requested yesterday evening to read the message above before I was allowed to post it on the forums. I wonder why. Anyway, after giving this message for them to read the admin in charge of ticket finally hurried to answer to us before I make this post that a team can not defend it's cause, only the player who got banned can and should the player get his ban revoked then team would get disqualification cancelled too. This means you can destroy team's reputation and give the team 0% chance of defending itself. That sounds pretty unfair to me. Sorry for creating a new thread as the previous one was locked without any given reason. I would have liked to post to that and I also requested that from admins.

I consider this case now closed. Feel free to lock this thread as well or move this message to previous topic.
