RO2 The Soviet winter hero

During winter maps when I play as a hero there are times that my teammates shot me mistaken for being German especially from a distance not just once but at times repeatedly get shot by teammates specifically the new players or the ones who have no idea about how Soviet uniforms looked because unlike the summer versions where Hero soldiers looked almost the same as the others except a dirtier looked and rolled up sleeves.

I do noticed why some players do not notice that Soviet players playing a hero class wear the same gray ushanka with a red star like the rest(SLs and TLs have the ear flaps down) while the Germans wear their helmets. I own an ushanka with a red star in real life so I do recognize whether its a Russki or a Fritz and historically only after the war in East Germany where East German soldiers actually wear ushankas. What a Soviet hero actually differs is instead of wearing a standard shinel(the coat) they actually wear a Telogreika issued from WWII up to the 60s where they went back to issuing good old shinels. Good thing at summer maps playing as Elite Assault or Machine Gunner doesn't have a serious TK issue due to the uniform is Khaki even though they wear helmets like the Germans.
