I dont know if this has been suggested but I didnt find much in search.
A small bit of inspiration from a mode in Left 4 Dead 2.
I think it would be nice if there were a mode where you are a zed trying to take on the survivors. Maybe you spawn in an unusual place waiting to take on them by surprise. It would be interesting if a player were to control the Patriarch in the final round.
Another option would be to act as a "commander" indicating where to spawn which zeds in a given map, as to flank or best make a combination of zeds against the survivors.
