So my KF2 client works just fine when offline, but online I cannot connect to anything. The game will start to join, but about 1-2 seconds after the load screen starts up, the game will black out and it says the program has stopped working correctly and must close. The error only occurs when I am connected to the internet (solo or servers). I can only play solo when completely offline and my perks are at 0 as it cannot load them.
That aside, I think I might be screwed by my college. I have to have Trend Micro installed to use the internet here, and I cannot turn its firewall off completely. This could be the problem, but my mate in another dorm can still run KF2 just fine.
Any suggestions? I think I've done all the basic fixes from the support threads. Nothing has helped the issue. :confused:
