KF Black screen and C++ Errors. Need help! (Have exhausted all other resources)

So this morning I fired up killing floor, played for a few hours on a solo round, logged off, shut down my computer for a few hours, and came back to discover that Killing Floor was not working. This is the error I am getting the most...

I am also getting a black screen that causes me to have to hard reset my computer as Alt-tabbing, ctrl-alt-delete, and alt-f4 do nothing.



I've tried:

•Verifying game cache

•Re installing

•Editing the KillingFloor.ini as shown:



[Engine.Engine]

RenderDevice=D3D9Drv.D3D9RenderDevice

;RenderDevice=D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice



and change it to



[Engine.Engine]

;RenderDevice=D3D9Drv.D3D9RenderDevice

RenderDevice=D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice



•Deleting the system folder and verifying files

•Deleting the .ini and verifying files

•Setting the game to launch in compatibility mode (which works but will not launch through steam)

•Launching in windowed mode

•And checking if my video drivers are up to date...



*Also note that I did not update windows, drivers, or download any software before I got these errors..
