Return of the trench gun?

I hope I'm not the only one who wants to see this awesome gun back in killing floor. I have an idea though that would make this gun so much more kickass. TW would probably have to nerf the gun a bit, but considering the fact they are going for fast gunplay I want to be able to slam fire the pump. Meaning you can hold down the left mouse and your character will continuously pump the action and shoot.

So what do you guys think of that? Any shotgun with that feature would be pretty awesome, but the trenchgun (winchester 1897) is the only one in the game as far as I know that it's possible with.
