[Solution] Acquire custom maps without a struggle.

Place custom maps on your computer without time-consuming downloads.



Aside from subscribing to SWS, there is another quick method to get your maps.



Avoid downloads, get all maps compressed at TWI beta forum, and place them in your client directory; ten minutes flat.



1. Go to the TWI RO2/Rs modification forum.



2. Go to RO2/RS beta map releases.



3. Select the map/s you desire from each thread listed; the links are furnished by the author.



4. Download the map in compressed form.



5. Unzip the map into your client's game folder.



examples:



For HOS maps:



C:/Users/"some name"/My Documents/My Games/RedOrchestra2/ROGame/Published/CookedPC/Maps/Butovo/TE-Butovo-B81.roe



For RS maps:



C:/Users/"some name"/My Documents/My Games/RedOrchestra2/ROGame/Published/CookedPC/RSGame/Maps/WakeIsland/RSTE-WakeIsland_1944_betaV5.roe



Acquiring custom maps in compressed form does not have to be time consuming or bandwidth intensive.
