I made a version of the BioticsLab bricks wall texture, it's a set of three 1024x1024 texture samples, diffuse, normal and another with different stuff in each channel (mask, height map and grunge), all texture samples has no alpha channel.
All these has Compression no Alpha checked and compression settings TC_Default except the normal map that has TC_Normalmap compression.
Once the textures are compressed and the package saved, the .upk package has a size of 6.779KB. Making a package with three 1024x1024 DXT1 textures in UE2.5, the package has a size 2.050KB.
That weight difference is normal?
