Berserker Idea / Class Peeves

Now I'm not sure if anyone else has had this feeling before, but when you play a Berserker the best way to deal with large stuff (IE: Fleshpounds, Scrakes, and fan hitting) is too pull out a ranged weapon and get a head shot with it. Why is it that the MELEE class uses a weapon that is basically everything that the class isn't? I don't think the classes are specialized enough, now this might get fixed in KF2 but I'm not in on that information



Well anyways,



I feel that the zerker needs a sort of tool/ability to make the game more dynamic. For instance since this is a science-ish game we could fuse some of the zed mutations into the zerker for short term use.

  • Crawler: couple of seconds of wall run

  • Siren: aoe stun or push back

  • Gorefast: faster attack for a short time

  • Bloat: target re aggro (kind of like boomer bile)

  • Scrake: Damage resistance for a short time

  • Fleshpound: double damage on next attack


Normal Zeds are too common in my opinion to warrant a buff and Husks fall too much into the Firebug's territory.



The player would get the chance to use these moves when they kill the respective Zed (and bathe in its blood)



This ability would be activated by the player with an indicator on the screen to point out which would activate next.
