When playing a horde based game knowing the enemies location and abilities plays a huge role on where the player should be at on the map, and how they should approach a situation.
When the player has zeds that teleport on the map, it ruins that predictability and strategy. The worst part is its not within the control of the players ability ingame and happens without warning or indication.
For comparison, when playing COD Zombies you know the location of the zombie at all times. They move around the environment and there are no surprises that the player doesn't know of or cannot control. This lets the player put together strategies around taking certain paths or having an escape plan.
When fighting zeds and seeing them disappear right in front of the player just takes them out of the game and pisses them off.
The Zed's location should be absolute and the player shouldn't have to worry about a Zed Shaman in the background teleporting them around the map.
I know it is being worked on and it is going to be improved and you are all hard at work, but I question the system itself and its place within Killing Floor.
