Katana - Melee Weapon should give Melee experience for the Berserker!

I use to LOVE running around and leveling my berserker with the Katana!Now,since it's an everyone weapon,you can't!I don't mind it being an all players weapon but please let the damage it does contribute to the Berserkers total experience for leveling!!:(
