Crashing after the latest update

The game only started crashing after the latest update (the ~80 MB one).

Things I've tried:

• verifying the cache
• deleting config folder in C:\Users\Home\Documents\my games\KillingFloor2\KFGame\ and then verifying the cache
• reinstalling the game
• reinstalling everything in the redist folder
• reinstalling/updating my video drivers
