Sprite loading issues

The sprites don't load in properly and wind up looking like inflatable dolls for lack of better description. The heads float off and away from the body, and the limbs don't work. I've tried restarting computer, redownloading the game, validated files, deleted and redownloaded config files, and there has been no change. My other time playing, gameplay was great! Second time and then on, sprite issues.
