Crash to black screen w/ sound midgame

This started after I upgraded to the Deluxe edition of KF2. I had been playing this game for weeks without a single crash.

I don't believe in coincidences as this has now happened 3 times in the past 2 hours since I bought the upgrade- I was playing fine all day prior to that.

Are there any fixes for this?
