Just recently got into Killing Floor (about a month and a half ago) and I don;t like to play with people I don;t know, because they more than not turn out to be rude people with mics who say stupid things like "niggers" and "meany heads" (how sick).
Anyways, I want to run my own server for my buddies and I. I have all the technical requirements, strong internet connection, amazing glorious PC machine, but I can seem to RUN a dedicated server, I can't PLAY on it. I've followed the SteamCMD guide, set everything up, did the whole exit steam, open KF, but to no avail.
Am I missing something? Can someone show me a good guide to actually playing with people on a small private server?
