Just curious if this is something you still have within scope for the game, and if you'd be willing to discuss how it's working out so far. Has it presented an interesting challenge for players or was the idea scrapped?
Right now, clusters of crawlers tend to present zero threat if you can spot them ahead of time because you can down them all in a a concentrated burst of firepower. If they took your attention off the area where normal zeds travel they'd become a terrifying menace.
