Level Grind (why?)

Basically, I don't see why a player is forced to grind out perks for +200 hours of gameplay. I have tried to find a proper argument for it, but I can't.

For me, the leveling system is broken because there is no reason for such a grind. You can as easily make it max 50hours without any downsides. I would like to see a leveling system that speeds up exponentially, so while you start playing you have the time to get used to the guns/maps/enemies, but eventually level up faster since after (for example) 50 hours litterally nothing changes anyway.


I'm not looking for answers like: get gud/move on/how I don't enjoy the game because I dislike a feature/it was the same in KF1/i should use cheats, testmaps/level system offers replayability...

So if you can't get into a mature discussion about the subject, don't even bother because I probably won't even reply.
