Maybe different ammo types for the different high tier guns would be a nice idea, each one with their strengths and weaknesses. It would add more depth to the different perks' roles, and would especialize them in some way, like penetrating ammo for Commando guns that pierce through 1 zed to help him clean up those waves of trash zeds at exchange of more expensive ammo, explosive or incendiary ammo wich adds a chance to stun zeds at exchange of less damage and a bit cheaper than piercing ammo, but more expensive than the regular ammo...
