Sugg: A LIMITED Electronic Trader Kiosks ??

Hello. I seen something in the KF2 screenshot posted on PC gamer that caught my eye and I instantly thought that it could be used as an electronic kiosk - sort of an EXTREMELY LIMITED electronic Trader if you will.

It was this Picture.....

I can see this electronic kiosk offering just a FEW things, but at a medium-high to high cost, depending on the difficulty level.

I suggest the following;

- Allow Ammo to be bought at a higher price than at the trader

- Allow Armor to be bought at a higher price than at the trader

- Allow purchase of PERK ONLY weapons at a higher price than the trader

To have these electronic trader kiosks working, they should NOT be active during Trader time. They should be active say, when a certain amount of enemies are left on the map - like 20 or more, and shut down when there are 5 or less left.

For these to work effectively, I think they would need to be placed in areas that are heavily pathed. In other words, while a person is the electronic trader mode, its very possible that they get slapped upside the head when shopping. If a player gets attacked, it simply cancels the transaction and the player is either forced to kill the zed or leave the kiosk area.

Use of these should be very limited, maybe 1-2 on small maps, and maybe 3-4 at the most on really large maps. Ideally, they should be used in city environments.

The code for these electronic Trader kiosks should be closed, so nothing can be added or removed. That way it does not become a trader warehouse.

AGAIN, the point is this, it has Very Limited functionality, its there as a last resort - you have a player who was the last person standing, running around trying to stay alive, and out of ammo, no sword, and looking for ammo to finish off the last ## of Zeds. The ammo could cost them 1.25 to 1.5 times (or more) what the regular Trader would charge. But, in the end, it is worth it since the players in the game don't want to watch this person running in circles waiting for a box of ammo to hopefully appear for the last person standing, or, hoping that the auto-die function will end up taking care of the last.

Players get bored with the kiting aspect of the game, unless it is a planned event. This could help keep people interested in the match and add a pretty neat feature that's sort of high tech for the KF2 experience.

Whatcha Think ?
