Hey guys, me and my mates started to play Killing Floor again and this time we figured we want to do it on our own server. We played on a Listen server I created, but after I had to leave mid-match (and thus the server closed for everyone) I realized I want to create a dedicated server. Yesterday I created a dedicated server through this tutorial: http://ift.tt/1yj7MVS(KillingFloor)
Surprisingly, it worked! I created a guest account and used it to set up the dedicated server. My buddies and I got a few great runs and later I left the server for other people to connect. I saw it being full nearly all the time. Now, I had to shut the server down since I can't leave the PC running over-night. Today, I tried launching the server and it didn't work at all. I switched from using the guest account to a full-fledged user, but it didn't help. I could only see the server through my LAN and Favorites page (I had to enter a new IP for the Favorites one, the old one didn't work) and not through the Internet tab, which I used to connect through. This whole day I tried using various methods, most of which found in this site. Interestingly, lots of people have the same problem like me, but all of them can let their friends join to their server through the console open command.
Here's my Killingfloor.ini:
http://ift.tt/1yj7KNM
(I put it on pastebin, since the whole thing is HUGE. If there's a problem with that, I can edit the ini file here.)
Now, here's the weird part: friends can no longer join my listen server as well, if I create one. Nobody, friends nor strangers, can connect to the dedicated server as well, it was always empty. All the necessary ports are open as well, I followed the instructions exactly. I think it might have something to do with external/internal IPs, but I told my friends to connect to both internal and external IPs (both with and without 7707 ports). The server WORKS by theory, I can play there, raise perk levels, see everything on web admin.
Here's my KF server launcher bat:
Thanks for the help.
