I generally has a distaste for solo but I'm going to be doing some solo for some reasons.
So what's the best way to do KF solo? I was thinking about I came up with the following ideas.
#1 Actual solo mode in KF
#2 Playing on a dedicated server
#3 Set up a dedicated server on my other computer (only I'd have the pass)
#4 Something else?
#1 has problem with things acting different than in dedicated servers. #2 has problems with ping and my net connection (3 of my roommates like to upload stuff when ever...). #3 would work find, but I'd think it would be too "easy." I thought I heard something about how to artificially raise your ping. If I could do that, I'd pick #3 with something like a 50ms ping so that once I get back on my good connection at back where I normally live, it wouldn't be a huge transition.
Any thoughts, idea, suggestions?
