Hello everyone! I just recently bought this game (2-3 weeks ago, been playing it almost everyday) and I have some ideas for what might improve it or what I would like to see in the future.
1: Option to disable picture-in-picture mode for scopes, so you can only see through the scope. The only reason I want this option is because I have a pretty bad laptop for gaming. I can handle the game on most low settings, but scopes just kill my framerate. I usually end up switching to ironsights for my scoped weapons.
2: Rising Storm tanks! I don't know if this is a planned feature or not, but seeing the destroyed Japanese tanks on some maps is just so teasing. :)
3: Throwable Flares for night maps. Like the flares in Battlefield 4/World at War, these flares would blind the enemy if they look at or get too close to them, and would also help light up areas. I would say only Squad Leaders and Commanders could throw them, and they would be under the special grenade section (smoke grenades). I know there are kind of already flares for the night maps if the commander tells where to attack.
4: M1-Garand rifle mounted grenades? Maybe? Or too OP? I'm not sure, just an idea.
5: Improved AI (already brought this up in another topic posted in General). Know this has probably already been brought up, but just gotta' say it.
6: (Under the topic of AI tweaking/improving). I often hear AI ask "How is everyone doing on ammo?" and yet after saying that they run off. I was thinking it might be cool if they would pass out ammo every now and then when they say that (not a lot, maybe just 1 clip/mag) This is a throw-away idea, something I came up with right before posting.
7: Not being able to leave radio radius while calling in mortars/arty/missiles, (leaving would cut off the dialog and cancel the request). I know this would be annoying, but I've often called in arty then ran away from the radio while still calling it in. Doesn't need to happen, just a thought to make it harder/more realistic.
Anyway, that's all my ideas for now! I love this game and I've been having tons of fun playing RO2 and Rising Storm. My first actual realistic shooter game, and I love it! :D
