So i just looked at google maps at Paris and around the Eiffel Tower. Looks like Burning Paris was very loosely based off of that area. Anyways the point im leading to is that complete accuracy is irrelevant in this, but after playing horizine district i was inspired to try to kick start this project as follows...
The Paris Project:
You are hired by the French Government to eradicate the zeds based around France's most historical landmark, the Eiffel Tower. The mission is to drop insurgents and mercenaries (aka you guys), around to deplete zed numbers enough to be able to eradicate the zeds in order to make it safer for workers to come in and repair the tower and begin to use it as a base of operations.
This is key in restoring moral in both the French people as well as surviving people of Europe to show them there is hope for our world to be restored. Also just as importantly to help provoke further American military interest against this imminent threat, to show them we can win with there help.
Ok so heres a map of Paris around the Eiffel Tower (http://ift.tt/1TjHQnH)
Ok if you look at this map it looks like twi's map was based on the area northwest of the Eiffel Tower. After playing Horizine District i find that its around the northeast of the tower. What id like to see is two maps made to the southeast and southwest of the tower. the finally after the immediate area around the tower is clear. We then push into the tower itself to eradicate signs of life from it.
Ok so those how the maps could be layed out. Now at first those could just be regular survival gamemode maps. But later hopefully with the help of twi, we could make this into a mini campaign.
-First Mission: Horizine District-
Here we find where the outbreak started, and of course the first thing you must due to stop the bleeding is to cut it off at its source. Here's a list of objectives.
- We will drop you off at the top of the Apartment Complex 100 yards from the complex. Make your way down to street level. (This s where you spawn in Horizine District)
- Fight your way to the Lab and wipe out any signs of zed life.
- Once you enter the complex make sure you seal off the entry point so any hidden zeds cant escape.
- You must make your way through the complex and wipe out both the plans and machinery to make the zeds but also the zeds themselves. This will be the longest part as its a large complex and we are not quiet sure what is down there. You will be in the dark quite literally and figuratively during this phase of the mission.
- One of our explorers found that the lab is on the opposite side of the wall of the subway via a crashed train. This will be your point of exit, but first you will need to eradicate the life inside this lab. Once that is complete you will exit through the hole in the wall and and seal it back up.
-After this is complete make your way through the subway and get topside. Once again seal your exit point to make sure zeds cant escape the subway system.
- Make your way back to the rendezvous (original spawn) and we will pick you up to get out of there.
