I made a post in the Steam Discussions page for this already, but maybe more folks will talk about it here. (this thread borders on 'suggestion' area)
Firebug was easily my favorite class in Killing Floor 1, for a lot of reasons. I've heard that in difficulties above Hard it stops being useful (and I mostly just played Hard so I wouldn't know) but for me it was a class that represented versatility and high kill counts while requiring the discipline of efficient ammo use and a (ironically) cool head.
Plus it absolutely wrecked ol' Patty. So yeah, despite having all of my perks at least rank 5, Firebug always stood as my all-time favorite.
Please tell me I can expect Killing Floor 2 to be a pyromaniac's wet dream? ;)
Tripwire did really well in the first game in A) having a flamethrower (and some other equally fun toys later) and B) Actually having it be a realistic, long-range liquid-fuel hose instead of that hollywood gas-puffing garbage.. I'm hoping the sequel is going to expand on this with even more gorgeously rendered flames and fire physics? Having some literal SPLASH to the flamethrower would be a nice touch indeed.
In terms of gameplay, I'm hoping for more higher-difficulty viability, and maybe some method of dousing chokepoints with roaring flames (Either via flamethrower use or some kind of gas can tool, maybe?) that will dissuade zeds from passing and ignite ones that bumble through.
