Hi.
I think many people in the community would want to have Linux server binaries for KF2. Seeing as RO2 Linux server wasn't released, I'd like to point out that lots of KF1 servers are running on Linux, and it would be a problem to switch to Windows for some of them.
For example, I run a bunch of KF servers on a paid dedicated server, and they are visited by ~600 unique players a day. Switching to Windows means that we have to pay extra 20 euros for the license, and going through transferring everything that we have (web sites and other stuff) from Linux, or ordering a separate machine for KF2, and that's even more money.
And, you know Windows isn't good as a server OS. Yes you can host a server or two, but if you have to manage 10 of them running 24/7, Linux is far better. I hope Tripwire see that this is important, because better servers mean better game for players.
