I'm really excited for KF2, as you can probably guess. But I can't help but wonder how long we're gonna have to wait.
So lets make guesses!
The screenshots we've seen so far make it look as if a lot of progress has been made. Many other games release screenshots of just environments and cutscene-esque stuff, but here we see pics of first-person action at such an early point in time.
The original Killing Floor was announced 2 months before its release date. Red Orchestra 2 however, was announced in 2008 from what I understand, and then released in 2011. The Tripwire devs have stated somewhere that they don't want to repeat such a long wait. If I remember correctly, the devs have mentioned that they've been working on KF2 for two years.
I think we'll be able to play the game this year.
However, PC Gamer has codes for a KF2 character skin intended for the July issue, even though the July issue is purchasable 2 months ahead of time. Could July - 2 months later - be of any special importance?
Idle speculation awaaay~!
