I'm the type that wouldn't want to inject too many ideas 'cause I'd like to be surprised and wowed with whatever you guys throw our way with KF2...but I'd like to express a few things just for additional perspective.
1 ) Unless I'm mistaken, it looks like KF2 won't be using KF's DLC. That's totally fine (would prefer a clean slate anyways) but it'd be cool to have cross-game functionality of some kind (similar to playing Dwarfs!? for the Dwarfs!? Axe being unlocked).
Perhaps something along the lines of having a weapon unlocked for perks in KF2 that reached Lv.6 in KF1? (i.e. Lv.6 Commando in KF1 gets awarded access to an FNFAL in KF2's armory or something along those lines).
2) New game modes are always welcomed. I'd be happy if it's 2 or 200...so long as something of a "Classic" mode remains where it's similar to the style of KF we all know and love. It doesn't have to be 1:1 to the original but just as straight forward and accessible.
3) Allow players to vote to skip/extend trader time (perhaps cash penalty for extending trader time, cash bonus for skipping?)
4) Lastly, and I'm sure I'm in the minority for this but I actually enjoy the "unique" DLC characters for variety's sake...namely Harchier Spebbington, Harold Lott & Reggie The Rocker.
I'll probably get flamed for not obsessing over militaristic styled characters ('cause no game ever uses those) but I hope you guys continue that trend of eccentricity (doesn't have to be excessive but a small treat now and then would be nice).
I also would like to see Reggie come back with his ENTIRE voice pack. :D
