Hello,
I have been playing RO2/RS since they were released and I have more than 700 hrs in the game. Just last night I start getting the dreaded "rogame.exe has stopped working" crash at the splash screen. I have tried verifying local files cache, deleting & reinstalling game to no avail. There is no .dmp file created and the .log is as follows:
Does anybody know what is going wrong?
Specs:
i7-920
12GB DDR3 RAM
Win 7 pro
GeForce GTX780 running driver 335.23.
Some additional thoughts:
-The .log above is always the same but the log that runs when the game is crashing seems to stop at different places
-I use the -nohomedir launch option but my brother in law recently logged on with his account (that doesn't have this launch option) could that have wrecked something? I had successfully run the game since he had logged in though...
