The battle of the semi-autos. What is your favorite rifle?
I think that the SVT-40 takes the crown. I prefer the sight picture (G41 too "blocky" and obtrusive) and the firing sound is crisp. Also, it is magazine loaded, and the stripper clip animation is smoooooth. I absolutely hate the partial magazines after stripper clip reloads though, IRL the SVT was issued with two or three magazines, the rest all in stripper clips.
However, the G41 has a much, much more positive bolt hold-open, which is helpful. I also noticed that there is a bug where a part of the bolt sticks out after firing the last round. The firing sound is powerful too.
