RO2 T-70 frontal armor seemingly impenetrable

First of all, love the T-70. When on the Russian side I like to pick it because I only have two positions to swap between and it is fast, I get to the objectives quicker.

That said, it is a very tough nut to crack when firing at it from the front, especially with the Pzkw III at any range. I'd say impossible at times. Let me explain:

Numerous times I have experienced myself and others firing at the frontal armor of this tank, from point blank range to maybe 300 meters, several tanks firing at the same time with little to no effect. When I say numerous, I mean 15-25 shots probably. In some cases, I have gotten to maybe 20 meters and shot at various spots all over the front of the tank, front of the gun mantel, underside, treads, drivers hatch and absolutely nothing. I feel like Sgt Guffy (Telly Savalas) in Battle of the Bulge "It's like hitting them with tennis balls!" :(

I feel I have better success shooting at the front of the T-34...

Is this something that is being looked at, or perhaps someone (dev or otherwise) can explain how this sloped frontal armor on the T-70 practically turns it into an almost unstoppable machine? Also comments welcome about how the AT rifles fare against the front of a T-70 compared to the 50mm cannon.

It really spoils what is otherwise a fine tank (by TWI/AMG) in almost every other way.

PS: I am well aware that you can attack it from the flanks and rear, that is not the issue...
