Just thought I'd make a list of what we know from the more recent interviews and screenshots as well as some of the older interviews and screenshots.
WEAPONS:
We know there's going to be an AR-15 variant, the bullpup (L86 variant), AK-12, SCAR Mk 17, knifes (depending on what perk you choose), a sledgehammer of some sort, a katana, Mossberg-500, The Boomstick, AA-12, Deagle, Beretta 92F (I do believe, I might be mistaking it for the Colt 1911 since I have trouble distinguishing the two when aiming down sights), grenades, and not to mention there was that P90 in the MOCAP footage... Plus, we'll probably get the husk's fireball launcher as we did in KF1.
In KF2, you actually spawn with weapons, which makes sense because you could always start out as a sharpshooter at the beginning of a wave and then switch to another perk, so now it's a meaningful choice. (I really hope you don't spawn with full ammo though.)
It appears that explosives, and maybe even some other weapons, might now be able to destroy the environment. The example given is how grenades can destroy lights.
A gun's bullets are going to become projectiles in Zed-time.
All weapons appear to have a flashlight.
Melees will have a light and heavy attack, presumably similar to KF1, but now you can effect the direction in which they swing. The directional swing is probably going to be more than cosmetic, considering that a vertical swing is going to be more effective against a single tall opponent (Fleshpound, scrakes, etc.) while a horizontal attack may be more effective against a swarm of weaker zeds (clots, cysts, etc.)
The Husk Fireball Launcher might have a full-auto mode now that simply turns it into a more badass flamethrower, since we can see the Husk spraying flames down on the ground in front of him as if the husk fireball launcher were a flamethrower.
Speaking of the Zeds...
ZEDS:
We know that every zed from the original except for Good Ol' Patty will be returning, along with a couple of new friends.
Apparently, there's going to be a new boss that hasn't been revealed yet.
The zeds gain more abilities on higher difficulties, making difficulty based more on "more intelligent" enemies than simply having "fake" difficulty in which they just simply soak up more damage and dish more out, as it was in KF1. zombies will sprint when shot and leap toward you.\
The cyst is said to be a weaker version of the clot. From its appearance in the first video, it appears as if it is scared of light and fire. Also, I'm no zed, but I'm sure if I were, then the cry that it makes would be very attractive and I'd rush to the spot. Just speculation though.
the slasher appears to have some resemblance to the gorefast, and will probably have a similar amount of health. Perhaps it does less damage but will rush at a target from a longer range than the gorefast? Again, just speculation.
It's safe to assume that the zeds shown in the trailers are on expert difficulty since some can be seen running around and leaping.
PERKS:
There are now ten perks, 8 of which are confirmed. As well as the original 7, there's also the Gunslinger. The Sharpshooter is actually being split into 2 perks, one of which deals with the long-ranged rifles and maybe crossbow(s), the other one (which goes by the previously-mentioned name of "Gunslinger") deals with the pistols.
There are now 25 perk levels, and perks level up in a much more significant way. This way, you can see little improvements more often and feel as if you're actually doing significant stuff on the way to get all the way to level 25. As long as you're playing a perk and doing something, you will be leveling up.
There are now "Perk Skills" which are choices between 2 playstyles of a certain perk. You unlock one every 5 levels. This way, you canhave 2 people on a team grinding the same perk and have slightly different roles. Anyway, they include but are far from limited to:
-Night Vision (Commando, replaces flashlight with better night vision goggles which you can activate or deactivate)
-Single fire (Commando, deals more damage when set to semi-auto mode.)
-Tactical Reload (Commando, reloads 20% faster)
-Extended mag (Commando, 50% larger magazine capacity)
-Callout (Commando, alerts teams about stalkers)
-? (Commando, allows teammates to see enemy health)
-Impact (?)
-Zed-time Professional (?)
-? (Support, 10% more damage with shotguns)
-? (Support, 25% more carrying capacity)
-? (Support, carry a backpack that can refill teammates ammo once per wave)
OTHERS:
Sprint? Well I suppose the zombies are faster on higher difficulties so it makes some sense.
Character customization? Apparently you can change clothes your player model is wearing.
Lobby system. Hell yes.
The trader is replaced with a 3D printer that accepts money for weapons.
Improved graphics and animations. (Duh.)
Greatly improved blood and gore.
Possible port to consoles? Looks like it will at least receive controller support...
Bioticslab remake and Burning Paris are the 2 confirmed maps so far. each will have some insight as to how the zeds were made.
Movie? Yup.
