The German problem. (TW and Iceberg)

So according to this tweet Iceberg will team up with TW again?

Well there is one little problem with that.

The German customer is already screwed… AGAIN!

With the release of a retail copy in Germany the USK/BPjM has to check the game first before it will be released.

This means either a cut version or a right out regionlock to German IPs.

If you guys would sell the game digital distribution only, we would have no problem to get an uncut version.

THANKS!

I know it is more fun to have a physical copy in your hands and it looks great in a bookshelf but the retail is dead.

90% of my friends are only buying games through Steam/Origin and they are fine.

We have no need for a retail copy other than pay more and (in the case of German customers) get less.

It is a business decision and I respect that but I am afraid that German Killing Floor fans will have a worse to mediocre experience with a great looking game without gore.

At least give us a little workaround.

It is not your fault but I just hate how the German rating system is patronizing everyone even if they are 18 years old.

Sidenote: I know that games like Deadspace 3 and other horror games got released uncut in Germany but with the outcry about the Dead Rising 3 incident I am just not confident enough and doubted a uncut release of KF2.
