Social experiment: "He's just good"

I've suspected certain popular players as ESPers/aimbot hackers. Upon spectating them for a significant period of time, I've seen some of the following: headshotting multiple people through smoke all at once (three shots, three headshots, 0 visibility); camping with mortars for prolonged periods of time behind cover (standing up and down to refresh ESP) then "randomly" firing and getting precision hits killing huge numbers of people (again, 0 visibility, no recon, no communication); lots of prefiring (aiming then firing around corners killing a camping player inside) but only when someone was there, no prefiring unless there was someone camping; excessively large number of kills via perfect accuracy (120+ kills per single round only using gun); people who are not squad leaders being spawn points; unlimited ammo and stamina, etc... I've seen a whole lot of this, and got some people I know to spectate on their own time, and they report the same thing. We're convinced these people are hacking, and we constantly gave them the benefit on the doubt. Finally, the evidence was overwhelming.

Whenever I called out these hackers, the majority of players instantly sided with them, even when they were being unfairly killed.

So my friend and I did an experiment.

He has ESP and aimbot. He used them both in several matches for several days in a row, and racked up many times the kills of the second-best players in the round. I called him out for ESPing. Guess what happened every single time?

"You're bad, he's just good."

"Get good newb"

"Have you ever considered the possibility that he's just good?"

"Video or it didn't happen."

"LOL you're dumb, don't be jelly!"

My friend and I are close, so we just laughed and shook our heads. People are so willing to defend hackers, it's actually kinda sad. Here he is quite blatantly hacking, and no one even suspects it. No one will even seriously consider the possibility. He was blatantly hacking, ESP enabling him to prefire, shoot through bushes, and beat anyone in single combat due to consistent headshots.

There HAS to be something done about hacking. Currently, these hacks (found @ <link removed> and possibly other websites) are NOT stopped by VAC/Punkbuster, I repeat, NOT detected or stopped by VAC or by Punkbuster. These hacking programs are literally unaffected, and by subscribing you can completely dominate RO2 for 5 bucks a month.

I'm not going to mince words: I've played video games for 21 years (I'm 26). I've played countless video games, and Rising Storm is in my top 5 favorites - which is saying a lot. But hackers are ruining my experience. I've watched my friend hack and I know the finer details of how the system works, so I can easily tell when someone else is hacking. And knowing them but being powerless to stop them due to stigma and admin bias is taxing. There are more of them out there than you'd be comfortable with knowing. They are in the game every day, getting countless kills that they shouldn't, and guess who are suffering the most? Players who want to play the game legitimately.

EDIT: Got an infraction for linking a website where hacks can be purchased. Of course this is detracting from the issue. Censoring information isn't going to stop people from finding hacking websites, which can be simply googled. What will stop hackers and hacking is decisive and effective action taken by game developers.
