So, as per usual the patch wipes out my ini files forcing me to go about rebinding keys from scratch yet again - ugh.
But, what's this? Somehow it's managed to make the graphics (all maxed out to ultra in the options) ugly.
Up close the LOD is fine:

Note the V7 ident on the side of the plane.
But take literally one step back:

Ooops, we've just dropped the LOD arbitrarily.
It's not the framerate smoothing at work - disabling that or lowering the min required framerate had no impact; and TBH the game's running fine at my current framerate.
It looks like - despite the graphic settings all set to Ultra - the game's LOD radiuses are messed up inexplicably.
I've tried going through ROEngine.ini to fiddle with any values that look suspicious; such as increasing the poolsize, etc. I even deleted it and let the game rebuild it (causing it to revert to low screen resolution each time) a few times in the off chance that something weird is causing it - but nope, the default file is responsible.
I've searched around on here - and despite finding:
http://forums.tripwireinteractive.co...1&postcount=72
the changes made absolutely no difference whatsoever.
I've tried going through my Graphics cards' profile settings for the game; turning off adaptive multisampling is usually a go-to way of fixing stuff like this, but not in this case. Setting tessellation from AMD Optimised to application controlled achieved nothing either.
I have no idea if it is related to another problem I seem to be having since the patch:
http://ift.tt/1jOswwy
If you look carefully (it doesn't show up too great on the screenshot) you'll see there's a crosshatching on the shadow-effect of the snow. This effect can be more or less pronounced as you move around the map, etc.
Again, turning off adaptive multisampling has no effect; so whether the two problems are linked, I have no idea.
Any suggestions or ini tweaks I should attempt?
