Latest news

Atm many of the latest news posts only have a few lines of text.

Yet when you visit the main page, your attention is first put towards a gigantic news logo and a big title and whoever posted the news. Yet the actual content below the big introduction doesn't state more than the title already does. Most of the attention and space of the news banners actually don't give any idea about what the content is.

Now we have tops things like "what is happening", and as content "just an update for everyone about the ladders". It still doesn't answer what is happening or what the update contents.

then if you click it you get a full page focused on 3 lines of text:

"As you know we have had some problems with our match reporting system which has delayed our release of the ladders. We are doing some final testing this week to ensure we have solved all the problems. If all goes well we shall be announcing the start date for the spring season."

Or Changelog #4, "an update has been pushed out click for details".

When you click it you get the changelog, but wouldn't it be better at least on the main page to showcase the bulletpoints put forward in the actual news article.

Personally in a modern world I hate wasted space and advertising. Most of the things put on the front page atm could be showcased to a single line. And clicking that page could show you to the comments/full version

News: Final testing on match report system, hopefully we can kickoff the springseason soon.

Website: Changelog #4, more new features added to the TWILadder website.

Yet at the moment all these things take up about 5 lines of the website, just for information nobody is waiting for, which would have allowed a lot of the main content to be posted.

I understand that you perhaps don't want the frontpage to be filled with news that is too old or look empty in general. But please think of the people reading it as well :P
