KF non-mutator sound modding?

hi there! i'm pretty new to modding killing floor and i apologize beforehand if this discussion has already been made or something, but as i long i didn't found anything with the search tool i tought to write here, so here is my question



is it possible to edit this 2 particular files



KFPlayerSound.aux

KF_BaseSiren.aux



in order to have the normal siren have the xmas siren scream? or maybe just a different scream? all of this without using a mutator?

also this is considered cheating of some kind? (just asking to be sure)
