Why does TWI apparently pay less attention to detail on foreign weapons? More specifcally non-US weapons.
All US weapons ingame feature spot on ballistic coefficients and muzzle velocities, whilst most foreign weapons feature incorrect values in this area, some grossly so.
It doesn't stop here however, TWI seems to have been extremely generous in regards to how little recoil some of the US weapons exhibit, namely the BAR which feels like an SMG if it wasn't for the massive damage it does. This is in rather stark contrast to the ingame depiction chosen for the Soviet PPSh-41 and German Mkb42, both of which exhibit a curiously high amount of recoil.
Speaking of damage US weapons again get some rather favourable treatment by TWI;
I find it very disturbing that the .45 ACP does 65 damage ingame whilst the 9x19mm by comparisong does only 50 damage, there being zero real life evidence to substantiate such a difference.
Even more disturbing is that the 65 dmg vlaue is only a mere 5 less than that of the 7.92x33 Kurz round (70), and its an assault rifle round!
TWI really needs to start caring a little more for the German, Russian & Japanese weapons, because currently they are most certainly not paying them proper tribute ingame.
