getting kill points that you didn't do

This just happened to me an hour ago. The kill message came up and said that I killed someone with a flamethrower....I wasn't using one; I was a SL. I thought it was maybe someone was stealing my name so I looked up the scoreboard. Nope, wasn't that. At the end of the match, sure enough I got 4 kill points with a flamethrower.



Has this happened to anyone else?
